Comforce

Comforce, which bought a technical recruiting company called Rhotech in 1997, places contract and permanent employees and they also help consultants find clients.

They have offices from the Silicon Valley to the Silicon Forest, and in the Mid-Atlantic area. They place people in a number of industries, but in the Seattle, WA area, they are mostly noted for high-tech placements. Comforce sometimes fills in as a backup vendor for Volt in software testing placements at Microsoft. They also place database administrators, network technicians, and helpdesk employees.

Since my primary experience with Comforce is in working with employees they placed in contingent staff positions, I don't have much to say about how the company works, but they are certainly a company to look at when you're looking for certain types of technical jobs. They advertise heavily and in a wide variety of publications, but you should be able to find many of their job listings via their web site.
