spinach and caramelized onion tarteIn the U.S. this is also known as a quiche, but in absence of ham I prefer to call this a savory tart. I caramelized a nice big onion, blanched spinach, and grated a cup or so of gruyere and whipped about 6 eggs to make a 9" tart. The crust is a basic pie crust using butter and a dash of nutmeg. |
